The Mediterranean Coastal Wetlands Governance Handbook is a step by step guide for site and area managers, focal points (Ramsar, ICZM) and local decision makers on setting up efficient, long-lasting and sustainable wetland governance.
We were contracted by client MedWet to structure and design a handy reference guide that made complex concepts accessible and actionable, that was easy to use, and that encouraged high reader retention with tips and advice, instructions, best practice examples, and ‘to-do’ checklists.
Along with using colour for navigation and icons for signposting, we enhanced messaging with bespoke illustrations and created a beautiful, breathable and functional document that has since been translated into 7 languages additional languages, and used in capacity-building workshops across the Mediterranean.
